This section is devoted to improving your ability to answer the question. Many of these questions will be set as part of your homework, and others it is down to you to practise for yourself.
About the Exam
Each of the three exams is worth 50 marks, and has 5 questions. You have 1hr 15minutes to complete it and each paper is worth 25%. The 5 questions are always:
- Q1) A 4-mark question based on one or two sources.
- Q2) A 9-mark question.
- Q3 or Q4) Choose from a choice of 2 12-mark questions.
- Choose either Q5 or Q6.
- Q5a or Q6a) Always a 9-mark question asking you to explain your knowledge.
- Q5b or Q6b) A 16-mark question which asks you to write a detailed essay answer.
