These are the pages on GCSE Humanities that will help support you in your studies. Use the links on the right to navigate through the different topics and case studies.
The Humanities pages were removed but are now gradually returning. Content continues to be added gradually, and currently the Activities still refer to older work but are excellent keyword and important checks for your case studies and wider knowledge.
They will soon be re-launched and fully updated in order to help and support you in your learning and revision. Check back regularly for updates.

How the exams work
After Easter you’ll be preparing for the exams. Each of the exams has a Source Booklet, and you can work on them before the exam and practise any questions we think might crop up. You won’t be able to take notes or any work into the exam however.
In Paper 1 in May 2012 you will answer all questions in the exam. Half the questions will be on Culture & Beliefs and the other half on Environmental Issues. There will be 72 marks up for grabs in this paper. The Source Booklet activities can be found here.
In Paper 2 in late May / June 2012 there will be five sections. IT IS VITAL YOU ONLY ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS ON GLOBAL INEQUALITY AND FAMILY AND SOCIALISATION!! As these are the topics you have been studying. Every year someone makes a mistake in the pressure of the exam and answers wrongly. Again there’ll be 72 marks available in total for this exam paper. Make sure you are familiar with this different Source Booklet.
